There are over 26,000 colleges and universities all over the world and around 4,000 in the US, according to National Centre for Educational Statistics. For students who aspire to pursue higher education, there seems to be plenty of colleges and universities to choose from.
Big data can be applied in the education industry in many ways, such as using analytics insights to modify and improve courses, learning outcomes, learning pathways and the materials students use to gain qualifications.
