Faculty responsible for making online materials accessible for disabled students | Inside Higher Ed
It is so important to make online materials accessible to people with disabilities at the time of creation, instead of scrambling to make them accessible later. It's so much easier and cheaper! This article says the instructor is responsible for accessibility, I would argue the designer is responsible.
