IBM, Boston Children's Hospital announce a telemedicine & e-learning initiative - Boston Business Journal

OPENPediatrics will include medical information, training modules and social interactions between users. A news release from IBM and Children's says the system will provide life-saving information for intensive care situations. It mentions preventable deaths from illnesses like pneumonia, diarrhea and malaria.
